Pappa's Chirstmas party at Union College

On December 7, 2006 we went to Pappa's Christmas party for Union College. It was held at the Marriott. We met Mimi and Great Nana there. We had some food and sat on Santa's lap. Pappa was helping out Santa that day and it took a little convincing for Julia to sit on his lap. She didn't recognize him so he had to say "Helloooo Beautiful" which is what he always says to her. Once she heard his voice she was ok to sit on his lap.

Thanksgiving

Julia celebrated her first Thanksgiving. We went to Great Aunt Debbies and Dans. We shared teh holidays with Mimi, Pappa, Aunt Titi, Uncle Dave, Great Aunt Tracie and Great Uncle Mike, Jimmy, Jenn, Christopher, Great Great Nana, Audry, and Renee. Julia just loved the sweet potaoes and turkey and of course the pickles.

November

Julia can now pull herself up and has started furniture creeping. We closed on our house and are in the process of packing up. What a mess.

October

Julia was a daisy for Halloween. We went and visited Nona and Aunt Breanna, Great Gram and Great Pop, and then went trick or treating with Mimi and Pappa and Auntie Dea, Skyler and Kaylee. Not a clue what the holiday was about...but next year will have a blast.

Hiking at Five Rivers

On September 28, 2006 Julia and I went hiking at Five Rivers in Delmar with Great Aunt Kathy and 2nd Cousin Kara. It was a gorgeous day and we had a lot of fun taking pictures and walking around looking at wildlife. Julia just chilled in the carrier and we took turns carrying her. Boy she sure was heavy in it.

September

Julia's favorite thing to do is jump in her jumperoo.......

Pictures from August

On August, 19, 2006 we took Julia to the Catskill Game Farm before it officially closed its doors in October. After 50+ years in business it closed sadly. After growing up in Catskill all my life and right down the street from the Game Farm, Scott and I thought it appropriate to take Julia to follow tradition. Although she was only 6 months old she absolutely loved seeing all the animals. Her favorite part was the nursery and petting area. She fed the animals the bottles and tried to take it herself.

What a Slacker I am

Ok...so about a year ago I started this page for Julia and said that I would update it.....guess what...I didn't. So now I am going to try and continue with this. I will be attempting to go back to the last entry and add one picture a month to try and get this thing current. Hope that everyone is well. Keep in touch.

!st Camping Trip

On July 13-16th we went on our first family camping trip. Grammie and Poppa have a campsite that they keep the trailer at for the whole summer and we decided to go up and visit and sleep in our tent. Julia had a great time. She loves to be outside and in the water. Attached are pictures from camping. Her sleeping in the tent with us on the air mattress, her in Sandy's tub taking a bath, and her hanging out with the family.

Trying to catch up

So It has been a while since I have updated pictures on Julia's website. I will try my best to keep up with it this time.

Swimming for the first time

On Father's Day (June 18th) we took Julia and her Daddy up to Saratoga Lake to go out on the boat and go swimming. It was a very hot day (93 degrees) and we decided that it would be best if we just parked the boat and throw out the anchor and float. Julia went swimming for the first time and liked it (although it was a little cold) and then she decided that she had had enough and wanted a nap. It was a very nice day and everyone had a nice time. What a way to spend Scott's first father's day...out on the lake, in the boat and with his two favorite girls.

Julia loves pears

Julia is now eating baby food and loving it. The picture that I attached is of her eating pears. She loves them...just not sure if she got any in her mouth by looking at the picture.

The family

On June 3rd we went to Scott's cousin Liza's wedding. It was a cold rainy day but we had a good time. These pictures are from the reception with us dancing and hanging out.

So Sleepy

Just thought that this was a cute picture. I caught her mid yawn.

Julia Has Cereal For The First Time

Last Friday (June 9th) Julia went for her four month check-up and shots. She weighted 14 pounds 1 ounce and is 25 inches long. Dr. Duff said that she is old enough to have cereal and fruits now. We tried her on cereal and she was too funny. She couldn't figure out how to swallow at first and kept spitting out the cereal. But after a week she has finally gotten it. Check out her pics of her eating for the first time.

Ice Cream For The First TIme

On Friday, Julia's Daddy decided to give her ice cream for the first time. She is cutting her first tooth so she is constantly chewing on her hands, or whatever she can find. So Scott decided that he would give Julia ice cream because it was cold and it would probably feel good on her teeth. And to our surprise...she loved it...as you can see from the pictures.

Pictures on the pier

How cute am I??? These pictures were taken along the pier of Lake Champlain. It almost looks like it is a backdrop and not an actual outdoor picture. Julia just loves to be outside. We were swinging on a big swing when Scott tooke these.

First Family Vacation

On Thursday we all left for Burlington, Vermont for our first family vacation. We left out house around 4PM and headed on the road for a 3 hour ride. Julia was excellent. She slept the whole day basically and only fussed at about the 2 1/2 hour mark because she was hungry....we fed her and put Finding Nemo on the dvd player and she was content for the rest of the ride to Gramma and Pappa's. We spent Friday walking around Battery Park and down by Lake Champlain and relaxing. The pictures are from Battery Park and down by the pier on the Lake. Then on Saturday we went to Cousin Liza and Shawn's wedding. A little rainy and cold but it was nice to see family.
